This Privacy Policy explains how Mint Cat Media ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit this website, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive.

1. Who we are

Mint Cat Media is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Mint Cat Media is operated by Jessica Steck, Gagernstraße 6, 64283, Hessen, Germany. 2. What data we collect

  • Consultation form: the name, phone number, email address, and any project details you choose to submit.
  • Cookie & preference data: your cookie consent choice, selected language, and light/dark mode preference, stored via your browser's local storage.
  • Optional analytics data: only if you actively opt in via Cookie Settings - anonymised, aggregated information such as pages visited.

We do not knowingly collect special category data (e.g. health or biometric data), and this site is not directed at children.

4. How long we keep your data

Consultation form submissions are kept only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and for a reasonable follow-up period, and no longer than 24 months unless a longer period is required by law or an ongoing engagement. Local-storage preferences remain on your device until you clear your browser storage or change your choice. Any analytics data is retained only in aggregated, anonymised form.

5. Who we share your data with

  • Formspree, Inc. - processes consultation form submissions on our behalf so we can receive them by email. Formspree is based in the United States; where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Hetzner Online GmbH - our hosting provider, based in Germany, hosts the website files.
  • Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics) - if you opt in to analytics cookies, Google processes anonymised usage data on our behalf. See section 6 below for details.

We do not sell your personal data, and we never share it with advertisers.

6. Cookies

Cookies and local storage are only ever set with your knowledge, and non-essential ones only after you actively opt in. You can review or change your choice at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of every page.

8. International data transfers

Some of our service providers (such as Formspree, and Google if you opt in to analytics) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the recipient's participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption and spam-filtering on our contact form. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's privacy

This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
